Benefits of Cloud-Based SaaS

Lower maintenance costs; efficient, streamlined resourcing; improved customer experience; and better performance represent some of the top benefits of software in the cloud. OPEXUS takes on maintenance and updates, providing relief for IT and eliminating the need to replace old, outdated hardware. In addition, OPEXUS infrastructure means lower costs for your agency across hardware, software, and the in-house resources and contractors that manage it all from implementation to upgrades and updates.

OPEXUS Network and Security Center

Security at the OPEXUS hosting center is administered by a designated security officer and monitored with 24/7 video surveillance. All personnel with access to the data center maintain DOD Secret Clearances with access gained through a keypad provided by Data Watch.

FedRAMP

The Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) is a U.S. Federal government program that provides a standardized approach to security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring for cloud products and services. OPEXUS eCASE is FedRAMP compliant for both Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and has received an Agency Authorization to Operate (ATO) at the Moderate level.

Defense Information Systems Agency Impact Level 2 (DISA IL2)

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has unique information protection requirements that extend beyond the common set of requirements established by the FedRAMP program. Using FedRAMP requirements as a foundation, the U.S. DoD specifically has defined additional cloud computing security and compliance requirements in their DoD Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG). eCASE currently maintains a DoD Provisional Authorization (PA) rated at Level 2 Impact Level.
